I was perusing my many websites that I look at, on a daily basis, today.  Mostly they're of the news fashion, but a good portion of them are of mixed varieties.  Sites pertaining to my new motorcycle, message boards, Sci-Fi's "Ghost Hunters," etc.  I even try to stay on top of what's trendy in music today, but at thirty-six, I can hardly relate to the "pimp-hop" and "slut-pop" bullshit that dominates the stations that teenagers listen to.

(Here in St. Louis, we've got a relatively new radio station that plays a mixture of 70's, 80's, and early 90's music.  In less than six months time, it's already dominated as the number one music-orientated station...gee...I wonder why.)

So, I'm on www.cnn.com, and I notice that they've included a search feature that shows the most viewed articles of the last 20 minutes.  Cool, I thought.  Since it was CNN, I assumed it would be dominated by Al "Chicken Little" Gore, "Benedict" Murtha, and maybe a couple other Commucrats bitching about the administration, and then some stories on that Middle Eastern war that's brewing over there around Israel.

I was wrong.

Are you freakin' kidding me???  Is this what's so goddamn important to The Sheep of our country?  Who the hell cares about "Lil' Kim?"  She's a hip-hop skeeze-bag who's probably got more beaver shots posted on the internet, than albums sold!  (Note to parents: Go HERE and tell me that this is someone you want your little girl to emulate?)

Rob Schneider?  There's only four more stories more important than this failed actor having a bout of food poisoning?  Millions of people get food poisoning each day, but we gotta be concerned with THIS schlep?

Then there's Star Jones.  Granted, she was a lawyer, and does have a portfolio of previously decent work, now she's gained notoriety with some plastic surgery, and doing mindless coffee-klatch on a housewife talk-show on ABC.  OOPS!  She's not doing that anymore!  Oh, the horror!  The world must know the truth on this most tangled of webs of deception!

See...these are the people who vote in our country.  The so-called "informed."  The citizens who have been put in charge of electing competent officials to run their government and nation.  Now, I'm not saying that 100% of our lives need to be devoted to political and international news, but my God...educate yourselves, people!  It wouldn't kill anyone to miss one goddamn episode of "Entertainment Tonight" to go get caught up on the REAL headlines of the week.  Go to the main page on my site, and start clicking my news links.

This is why the islamic terrorists think they're winning the war.  This is why Al Gore's fairytale movie is considered "science."  This is why George Bush's poll numbers are so low.  This is why half of the things that people bitch about, happen.  It's because the Sheep are much more interested in Star Jones and Lil' Kim.
