Regardless of what you may hear in the slanted media today, the United States of America is still the greatest country to live in, by far. Our standards of living are higher than anywhere else. Our GNP is without equal. We enjoy more freedoms, and a higher quality of life anywhere else in the world (albeit, most folks take that shit completely for granted). Our citizens are the wealthiest. We are the healthiest. We are the most gainfully employed. To be a basic citizen of the United States could very well be more desireable than to be the ruler of probably any third-world country. There's a price to pay for that luxury, though. One of those prices is taxes. After our Independence, taxes were created, in order for the country to pay off the debt required to provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States. Basically, in order to live in this great country, you had to "pay your share." Every person's responsibility was to contribute to the society, and help fund it's government, which in turn would then have the assets required to provide broad security for that same person, and all other citizens in the country.
Something happened between 1776 and today. Citizens have forgotten the concept of "pitching in." People turn a blind eye away from the very principles that made this country so great. And, for the life of me, I can't understand why.
In May of 1846, Mexico declared war on the United States over the territories of California, New Mexico and Texas. In 1848, the Mexican-American War ended, and the United States rounded out it's continental shape (might I add...the democrats pushed for the war, while the Republicans and Whigs stood reserved).. Regardless of whether the war was right or wrong, belongs to history. Today, the two countries are vastly different. The United States is the sole superpower on the planet, and Mexico is barely a third-world country, struggling with poverty and shitty standards of living.
It is 2006, and Mexico has unofficially declared war against the United States again. These are not immigrants. Immigrants come to permanently reside in our country. Assimilate into our society. Contribute to our economy. They're not immigrants...they're invaders. Every day, hundreds, if not thousands of illegal invaders cross the Rio Grande, and other parts of the Mexican/US border into the United States. These illegal invaders seek to work here, illegally. They seek to live here illegally. They send their children to school here, illegally. And they seek medical assistance, illegally. Why are all these things illegal? Getting back to my first point, they do not pay taxes. They do not contribute to society, like legal US citizen must contribute. A good portion of the wages they illegally earn here, are converted to pesos, and sent back to their families in Mexico. These people are flat-out criminals. Period. The Mexican government turns a blind eye towards this crisis. Why should they care? Their country is stricken with such poverty, that a major loss of citizens is a blessing to them. Even better, when those same citizens (who are no longer a burden to their economy) regularly ship money back over the border. Talk about a "two-fer" economy boost! The United States' government turns a blind eye as well. There are already too many of these fuckers over here to begin with, and look what's happening now that they're talking about immigration law reform. THOUSANDS of them, in concentrated locations, are threatening an uprising. We let this go on for too long, people. And let's talk about these fucking retarded US citizens who are walking hand-in-hand with these criminals, in these marches and protests. THEY'RE ILLEGAL ALIENS! What part of I L L E G A L!!! don't you understand?! Obvously, these idiots have absolutely no concept of the "big picture." They are completely devoid of the rational thinking that pertains to what this invasion is really doing to our economy here. Who do you think is paying for their kids' schooling? We are. Who do you think is paying for their medical coverage? We are. Who do you think is paying their share of taxes to keep this government afloat, streets paved, people employed? We are. Now ask...who do you think is getting paid, tax free, and sending that money back across the border, instead of re-investing in our economy by spending those dollars here? They are. They are an astounding burden on US Taxpayers. This is an invasion, and our citizens are too stupid to care. More people care about who's gonna win American fucking Idol. This country has it's head in the sand, and that's exactly how the invaders want it. People are marching in protest, waving Mexican flags, and screaming about the right to live here illegally. Work here illegally. They want the right to take money from our economy and put it into the Mexican economy, illegally. These people have absolutely no right to these things, yet the protests continue. They complain about wanting "dignity," and chanting that they "are not criminals." How the fuck are they NOT criminals? They crossed the border illegally!!! There is no "grace period," where after so many days of illegal occupation, you magically get a "right" to live here! Fuck you!

American patriotism is severely waning. Schools in Colorado are taking down their American flags, out of fear of what the illegal schoolchildren will do. Schools in California are banning "patriotic colors" so as not to offend the illegal invaders. What's fucking wrong with you people?? Since when is it wrong to be patriotic in your OWN country??? Invaders, like roaches, are coming out all over. Mexicans who are openly stating that they have been living in the United States illegally for 10, 15, 25 years or more. They say that they want to "progress" with our country. They want to "have a chance at a better life." Lemme get this right, Paco...You've been living here for 25 years, illegally. Why haven't you applied for citizenship? If Pedro would have gone about it the legal way, he could have applied for citizenship within seven (7) years. SEVEN YEARS. A measly seven years, and Sanchez could have been a bonafide, legal United States citizen. See, but they do not want to be citizens. Citizens pay taxes. Citizens contribute to social security. They want all the benefits, but none of the burden. It don't work that way, Manuel.
Look...the hippies might be all happy that these invaders are here, sponging off the fruits of our labor, but I'm not. I'm tired of my tax dollars going to these ticks on our societal dog. I'm sick of hearing them whine about "civil rights," all the while completely disregarding the rule of law, in this country. Illegal = illegal. Civil rights do not play a role in that equation.
What's the solution? Easy. 1) People who hire illegal invaders are fined, and/or get their business license revoked for first-time offenses. No warnings. They should have goddamn known better! 2) Complete denial of all medical and scholastic services towards individuals who can not prove their citizenship, or legal immigration status. Don't want to be a citizen? Then you don't get any luxuries of citizenship. Period. Tough. Too bad. Go back to Mexico if you don't like it.
It's that simple! Make it more of a burden for illegal invaders to be here, than in Mexico, and they won't come. At the same time, we can reward legal immigrants, who show a genuine interest in contributing as US citizens. It's not that anyone is against immigration, just as long as it's done correctly. Sneaking across the border is not "correct." It's criminal.
Or...we could just declare war on Mexico, take it over, and make it our 51st state. Then they'll ALL be citizens. Hey...it would make travelling to Cancun for vacation a helluva lot easier!
I hate to say it, but I blame the Republicans on this. They've held control of our government for long enough. They could have done something by now. They could have gotten something passed. They could have enforced the rule of law. They didn't. They put their heads in the sand, and made believe it wasn't as big a problem as it is. Now that it's a massive problem, the Republicans are ill-prepared to address it as the law requires. They continue to find ways to appease these invaders, instead of deal with them like the scum they are.
Bush is becoming such a good Democrat. Kerry is probably so proud of him.
Finally...there's this...
God, I despise Texas. Maybe we SHOULD just give it back to Mexico... |
